Workshop on Client Server Communication

Jalandhar, September 26, 2018: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya - the Autonomous & Heritage institution, Jalandhar in its endeavor to bridge the gap between academics and industry requirements and to make the students job ready, initiated a 6 Day Workshop on Client Server Communication using Linux. The workshop has been organized by the PG Department of Computer Science & Applications. The Workshop is aimed to equip the students in the networking domain, as Networking is the backbone of every corporate house and the demand of networking experts is ever increasing in this technology based world. Principal Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi inaugurated the Workshop along with the faculty members of Computer Science department.
The Resource Person of this 6 Day Workshop is Mr. Rohit Kumar, a Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), with sufficient industrial experience in Server Management. The students exhibited their enthusiasm in learning from an industrial expert and gaining in-depth knowledge about the Networking and its various other aspects.
Various modules will be covered during the 6 day training workshop like System Administration, Installing Packages and configuring them on Server side as well as on Client side, and accessing different Services from Server.
This workshop is completely free of cost; practical based and is aimed only at providing the skill set required in bridging the gap between unemployment and employability.
Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi motivated the students to grasp all the required technical skills to work in this domain and to enhance their personality to utilize the skills learnt during this program in their careers.
