QIP Short Term Course and AICTE-ISTE induction-cum-refresher course concludes at GNDEC

Ludhiana, December 8, 2018: A QIP Short Term Course on “Decision Making Strategies in Industrial Environment” and AICTE-ISTE induction cum refresher course on “Advances in Antenna Theory and Techniques” concluded today at Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana. The courses were organized by Mechanical Engineering and Electronics Engineering Departments respectively. Experts from various IITs, IIMs, TIET Patiala and NITs delivered their valuable talks with the participants and enlightened them on different topics related to the courses.
Dr. Ajay Kumar Sharma Vice chancellor IKG PTU Jalandhar was the chief guest on the valedictory function. Dr. Ajay K. Sharma who is also an alumnus of the college appreciated the efforts taken by the two departments and the college for organizing these short term courses. He said that these courses not only enlighten the participants about new technologies but also gives a platform to share their ideas with each other. Dr. Sharma also delivered the certificates to the participants.
The Principal of the college Dr. Sehijpal Singh thanked Dr. Ajay Kumar Sharma for sparing his time and come to his alma mater as chief guest of the courses. Among others present on the occasion were Dr. Manju Sharma Principal KCET Amritsar, Dr. Dinesh Grover Dean JC Bose University YMCA Faridabad, Dr. Paramjit Singh Bilga (HOD Mechanical Engineering Department), Dr. Sandeep Singh Gill (HOD Electronics Engineering Department, Course coordinators Dr. Harwinder Singh and Dr. Balwinder Singh, Deans and Heads of various departments. The dignitaries also visited the Heat Engine Lab. of the college where the BMW has donated an engine to the college for the students. Dr. Sharma VC IKG PTU, congratulated the college for attaining the engine and remembered his old days of graduation in the college.
