Participants during 7th edition of the annual inter-school techno festival- “ WIZTECH” 2015 being held at DCM Presidency School, Ludhiana.
Ludhiana, November 29, 2015: Seventh edition of the annual inter-school techno festival- “ WIZTECH” 2015 was held at DCM Presidency School, Ludhiana in which top notch schools of the city besides various other parts of Punjab and Haryana participated and showcased their IT and multi-media skills.
Sunaina Kapoor ,Convener of the event said that WIZTECH was one of its kind event in Punjab which provides opportunity to students to prove cutting edge in events like website designing, i-paint, e-chess, Turn-coat, IT quizzes and debates. “ More than a dozen companies including Jaypee Industries Limited ( JIL-IT), KIPS, Cordova, Oxford University Press, Lovely Professional University, Ratna Sagar and Educomp Solutions participated in this mega- event this year” said Sunaina, adding that with the explosion of knowledge and technological advancements, exposure to computers and multimedia technologies was imperative for the students of this digital era.
The event which was held in the high-tech auditorium of DCM Presidency School witnessed some close competitions amidst highly surcharged environment. Aman Malhotra and Adarsh Kashyap of the host DCM Presidency School got the first position in Webpage designing.
Archit Dhiman and Hridya bagged the second position in Multimedia presentation and Photoshop respectively.
Principal,Ms. Nupur Nutan congratulated the winners and said, such events not just develop their IT skill but also give them an opportunity to interact with the students of other schools.
