Website of technical education department Punjab launched

Chandigarh, November 11, 2013: The Technical Education Minister of Punjab Madan Mohan Mittal today launched the website of Technical Education department which would provide all kind of information regarding the 400 ITI in the state.

The website www.punjabitis.gov.in would provide all kind of information like the admission process, important dates, Exam schedule, Staff, fees, placement, workshops to the candidates. The website has also been linked with the all institutions, which now come directly under the supervision of the higher officials at the headquarter. Besides the necessary information, history of the technical education department and maps of all institutions have also been uploaded on the website.

Prominent amongst present on the occasion included A. S. Talwar, Principle Secretary, Technical Education and Industry Training, B.Purushartha, Director, Technical Education and Industry Training, Daljit Kaur, Additional Director, Technical Education and Industry Training and Mr. N. Kukreja, SOI, NIC.
