Parveen Abrol motivates CT students under “She Walks She Talks” series

Jalandhar, April 24, 2018: “The happiest people I know are those who lose themselves in the service of others”, said a known social activist Mrs. Parveen Abrol. She interacted with the female students of CT Group of Institutions, Maqsudan where an eighth motivational talk was organized under the campaign ‘She Walks She Talks series” of enhancing women empowerment.

“She walks She Talks” is all about great women having received pinnacle of their respective fields. Continuing with this spirit of encouragement and motivation, Mrs. Parveen Abrol, a known social worker from Divya Drishti was the key note speaker of today’s talk series. She is truly an iconic figure and is concerned for the betterment of the weaker sections especially women. Mrs. Parveen enlightened the students in a convincing way. She shared her personal experiences of dealing with the women who suffer domestic violence and other women related issues. She inspired the students to be all rounder and play strong affective part in each fields of life. She motivated them to become bold decision makers.

Mrs. Parveen Abrol while motivating students said, “It’s much easier to forget your personal woes when you’re serving the needs of those around you. For social workers, the needs can be overwhelming. But regardless of the results, the career rewards are intangible. One must serve society in the best way possible.” She further added, “Every now and then, we meet younger versions of ourselves. We see the mistakes they are making today and wish we could set them straight. For social workers, their lives are intertwined with those they are serving. They discover more and more about themselves every day as they learn to help those around them. As we lose ourselves in the service of others, we discover our own lives and our own happiness.”

Campus Director, Dr. Jasdeep Kaur Dhami expressed a heartfelt gratitude to the guest of honors by giving them green welcome and by briefing the august gathering.
