Volkswagen concludes National HR Managers Connect 2018
Mumbai: With an aim to achieve a market share of 3% over the next five years, Volkswagen, Europe’s leading car manufacturer is taking strategic initiatives towards enhancing its core brand pillars. Out of its six pillars, ‘People’ has been key that aptly reflects the Brands strongest capital in the Indian region. Strengthening it further, Volkswagen conducted the second edition of National HR Managers’ Connect 2018 in Jaipur. A one-of-a-kind platform wherein HR Leads across Volkswagen dealerships in India congregate over a two-day peer-to-peer engagement conference to exchange opinions and views on the best HR practices conducted across zones. With the all-encompassing theme of ‘Engage, Educate and Excite’, the HR Leads imbibe and share the core responsibilities of its HR function i.e. recruitment, training and motivation of employees. The forum also created the opportunity for participants to interact with selective Volkswagen Management Heads including the Brand Director – Mr. Steffen Knapp to receive leadership guidelines and perspectives.
