Dharamshala, April 7, 2017: BJP national spokesperson Syed Shahnawaz Hussain has advised Himachal Pradesh CM Virbhadra Singh to step down of the moral grounds.
Talking to this correspondent in Dharamshala on Friday Shahnawaz said , “Himachal Government which is being led by Congress leader Virbhadra has proved to be run under the corrupt activities, and Singh must step down to seek fresh mandate on the moral grounds.”
Shahnawaz said, “The previous Monmohan Singh-led government at the Centre had too crossed all corruption limits to be dethroned by the Indian voters three years ago, the Himachal government is too running on the same track.”
He said that the Himachali voters have their mind to bring back BJP in the state to have the smooth, working and honest government.
When asked as if the BJP shall project a face for CM’s post in the coming assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh, Shahnawaz said that let the elections be declared in the state first.
BJp leader is in Dharamshala in connection with cricket match being played between Bollywood stars and Members of Parliament on April 8 at the HPCA stadium Dharamshala. Teams of Parliamentarians will include five Union Cabinet Ministers. This match would be a part of awareness campaign to make India tuberculosis free.
Sources said that about 27 Members of Parliaments and 48 stars from Bollywood have arrived here to play cricket in this hill town. Though the Superstar Amitabh Bachchan, who is the ambassador for this campaign is not coming.
When contacted, Spokesperson of the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA), Sanjay Sharma told this correspondent that Union Health Minister JP Nadda will also attend the occasion with former Himachal Pradesh chief ministers PK Dhumal and Shanta Kumar.
Pageant is jointly hosted by the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease supported by the United States Agency for International Developments (USAID) Challenge TB project and the HPCA as part of the call to action for a TB-free India campaign.
Cricket match between MPs' XI Team will be Captained by MP Anurag Thakur against the Mumbai Heroes celebrity team, Captained by Bollywood superstar Bobby Deol.
