Chandigarh, March 3, 2015: Vigilance Bureau today nabbed a Kanugo red handed accepting the bribe of Rs.35,000.
Disclosing this here today an official spokesperson of the Vigilance Bureau said that kanugo Harbans Lal posted at revenue area Jandiala, Tehsil Banga, District SBS Nagar was nabbed on the complaint of Amrik Singh of village Sandhwan of SBS Nager. The complainant has alleged that the Kanugo Harbans Lal was demanding a bribe of Rs. 50,000 form him for the demarcation of his land. The deal was finally struck at Rs. 35,000.
On the tip off a trap was laid by the team of Vigilance Bureau and the Kanugo was nabbed red handed accepting the bribe of Rs.35, 000.
