Chandigarh, February 24, 2015: Vigilance Bureau today nabbed a Junior Engineer, PWD red handed while accepting bribe of Rs.4,500.
Disclosing this here today an official spokesperson of the Vigilance Bureau said that Junior Engineer, Parmod Kumar, PWD was nabbed on the complaint of Ghanshyam Bhardwaj, Cluster Manager, Reliance Telecom.
The complainant complained to the Vigilance Bureau authorities that Parmod Kumar, JE, PWD, Central Works, Division, Patiala was demanding bribe amounting to Rs. 4,500 for allowing them to dig pits alongside Zirakpur Patiala highway.
A trap was laid by the team of Vigilance Bureau, Patiala headed by K.D.Sharma, DSP, and JE Pramod Kumar was arrested red handed while accepting bribe of Rs. 4,500 from the complainant.
