Verka Announces decrease in the cattle feed prices

Ludhiana, November 30, 2016: Verka has announced a decrease in the cattle feed prices w.e.f. 01.12.2016. There is a downward trend in De-oiled Rice Bran and Rice Bran prices, which are the major constituents of Cattle Feed, this has consequently resulted into the price decrease. The rate of Verka ISI type-II, Verka Premium & Verka Gold Cattle Feeds will go down by Rs. 100/- per qtl.

It is observed that animals do not get all the required nutrition for efficient milk production, body maintenance and better reproduction from the traditional feeding practices. Therefore, milk producers are suggested to feed their animals with balanced cattle feed which increases the productivity of animals by providing balanced nutrition with necessary proteins, carbohydrates, fat, fiber, vitamins and minerals etc. in required proportion as suggested by animal nutritionists.

“Verka always stands by our patrons, be it the remunerations we give to milk producers or providing them with better cattle feed and forage seed. A healthy cattle produces high quality and nutritious milk hence it is very important to give them the right balanced diet.” Said Mr Amarjit singh Sidhu, Chairman MILKFED . “Owing to the decrease in the De-oiled Rice Bran and Rice Bran prices the prices of the Cattle feed has also being decreased” he added.
