United India Insurance Company adopts Government High School, Jaspal Bangar
Ludhiana, February 5, 2019: India’s leading general insurance company, United India Insurance Company has adopted Government High School, Jaspal Bangar , Ludhiana under the Corporate Social Responsibility Programme. Total of 110 dual desks for students and 5 teacher tables were provided to the school amounting to about Rs.2 lakhs. On this occasion, SK Singh, Chief Regional Manager, OP Bibian Regional Manager, Usha Grover CSR Nodal Officer, Sangeeta Karkra Divisional Manager( DO-6), Raj Kumar Kataria Branch Manager(BO RK Road) and Sunita Sachdeva Deputy Manager from Regional Office Ludhiana were present.DSS Balwinder Kaur and local panchayat members were also present. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Regional Manager SK Singh apprised the gathering that United India Insurance Company is providing its services in the field of social service in addition of its insurance business. Regional Manager O P Bibian apprised the audience about the social responsibility activities of the company. A cultural program was also organized by the students. A quiz was also organized for the students regarding insurance literacy and students participated very enthusiastically and winners were awarded trophies.
