Ferozepur, September 4, 2015: Students from Polytechnic Wing of Shaheed Bhagat Singh State Technical Campus, Ferozepur achieved another milestone by getting meritorious positions in recently declared Final Examinations conducted by Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training, Chandigarh at Punjab Level.
Two students namely, Gagandeep Kaur from Computer Engineering and Anjali from Electrical Engg got First Position in Punjab.
Mr. Suraj Prasad Kushwaha and Mr Om Prakash of fifth Semester Electrical Engg got 13th Position and 18th Position respectively in Punjab. Mr. Madhukar Sharma Shashank, of ECE got 17th Position in Punjab. Ms. Harpanthparteek Kaur, of 3rd Sem Computer Engg got 11th Position in Punjab.
Dr T S Sidhu, Campus Director; Sh Gazal Preet Arneja, Principal Poly Wing; Sh Rahul Sharma, HOD - Electrical Engg Deptt; Sh Gurjeevan Singh, HOD – ECE; Mrs Anuradha Rani, HOD – Computer Engg Deptt; Sh Gobind, HOD – Mechanical Engg Deptt; Sh Rajneesh Kumar, HOD – Applied Sciences Deptt were present during felicitation ceremony of these students.
Dr. T.S. Sidhu, Director appreciated the efforts made by all the faculty, staff and students of the Polytechnic Wing for attaining the meritorious positions at Punjab Level. Sh Gazal Preet Arneja, Principal Poly Wing hoped that more students of Poly Wing will attain meritorious positions in future, thus making SBSSTC excelling in Technical Education in the entire Punjab.
