Training Sessions For Mock Parliament At BCM 32-A

Ludhiana, April 9, 2016: Our country has been facing certain unnerving issues since Independence, echo of which has been reaching from grass root levels of Panchayats to supreme law making authority – Parliament. With the view to make the students aware about such issues and encourage them to participate actively in decision making for the betterment of the nation, MUN club of B.C.M.Sr.Sec. School sector 32A; is organizing Mock Parliament on 27 of April. Training sessions for the same are being held on 9 and16April 2016.120 students from classes 8th to + 2 participated infirsttraining session on 9 April and discussed the issues of “Reservation and Population Explosion “. Students were acquainted with working of Indian Parliament,parliamentary norms, pledge, question hour and zero hour. The school Principal Shri.D.P.Guleria encouraged the students and envisioned future leaders of the country in them.
