TRAINING COURSE ON ENTREPRENEURIAL SKILL DEVELOPMENT BEGINS AT PAU

Ludhiana, May 22, 2017: A five-day integrated training course on “Home Science for Entrepreneurial Skill Development” kicked off at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) today. The farm women and the rural youth are participating in the course, being conducted jointly by the Directorate of Extension Education and the College of Home Science, PAU.

During the course, the home science experts will impart theoretical as well as practical training in the preparation of utility and decorative articles from paper craft, preparation of eco-friendly cleaning agents, tie and dye of fabrics, block printing and screen printing on fabrics, and preparation of educational material. The experts will also give demonstrations on the preparation of cakes, biscuits, fruit based summer drinks, and sprouted and fermented snacks.
