Badal/Bathinda, December 18, 2014: Keeping in view the weather, the timings for final day matches of the 5th World Kabaddi Cup have been changed. Giving this information here today the Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal also oversaw the arrangements going on for the final match as well as the closing ceremony.
The Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal said that the cultural bonanza to be held at the closing ceremony would begin at 3 pm on December 30 and thereafter the final matches for men and women section would be held at 4 pm. Besides the Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal, the Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar too would be at the closing ceremony. Also the Minister of State for Sports Government of India Sarbananda Sonowal and Revenue Minister of Iran Mohammad Reza would especially reach for the gala event. He added that Punjabi performers Gippy Grewal and Pooja would perform. The American motorcyclists would be center of attraction of the star studded evening.
He was accompanied by the secretary sports Ashok gupta, Deputy Commissioner Sri Muktsar Sahib jaskiran Singh, SSP Kuldeep Chahal, Tejinder Singh Middukhera and others.
