Jalandhar, April 6, 2016: CT Institute of Engineering, Management and Technology (CTIEMT) organized three days Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp under Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) at its Shahpur Campus.
The camp was organized in collaboration with Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India, National Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB) and Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India for B.Tech. (CSE/IT/ECE) and management students. It was enlightened the students about different skills like finance, management, ideas and others to start their own ventures.
Entrepreneurs and experts including Mr. Simerjeet Singh (Motivational Speaker), Mr. M J Kalra (Retired Professor & Entrepreneur), Dr. Ashish Arora (Asst. Professor, GNDU College), Mr. R C Chopra (Ex Director, Micro Small & Medium Enterprises) and others. They encouraged the students to opt own entrepreneurship as career option. They shared many successful stories with the students to induce confidence in them.
Mr. Simerjeet Singh (Motivational Speaker) motivated the students to take risk to achieve higher laurels in life. The one who go for innovations, lead to evolution and success in their life. One should always move upward, go for different things and create their own success story.
Dr. P.S. Bedi (Director Campus, CT Group of Institutions) shared Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) is a platform for students to recognize and utilize their skills in identifying opportunities and creating innovative business models. This initiative is about students, their choices and actions in starting, taking over or running a business. He said, “EDC provides opportunity to students’ to turn an idea into business or a business into success and will help them to build confidence to take risk and taste the independence of entrepreneurship.”
S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions) and Dr. P.S. Bedi (Director Campus, CT Group of Institutions) felicitated the experts in their speech urged the students to extract maximum benefits out of this awareness program. Valedictory ceremony also witnessed the presence of numerous dignitaries.
