Relish the lip smacking treat of a special Robatayaki menu at Teppan
Chennai, January 20, 2017: Teppan – the first Teppanyaki restaurant in the country is organising a Robatayaki festival offering scrumptious Robatayaki and Tempura Basket menu across its outlets in Chennai and Bangalore. With a selection of finest delicacies, the festival will offer diners an opportunity to experience the authentic Japanese ‘fireside-cooking’. The festival with carefully curated menu and scrumptious dishes will start on 20th January to 5th February 2017.

Similar to barbeque technique, Robatayaki, popularly known as the Robata, refers to a technique of cooking which involves tender meat and vegetables slow grilled. This traditional Japanese style of barbecue cooking, prepared live for the customers offers some of the finest range of delicacies like , Tofu shitake, Sake & ebiyaki, Habutori yaki, Masutadonikuyaki, Tongarashiebiyaki, Horensosakana, Kiruebi.

As part of the festival, Teppan has also introduced the Tempura basket menu. The menu comprises of dishes like yasai tempura moriawase (made of Eggplant, carrot, zucchini, onion, baby corn, broccoli, spinach and peppers fried and served with tempura sauce and pickled radish & ginger), Mixed tempura (made of Shimp, calamari, white fish, carrot, egg plant, green bell pepper, fried and served with tempura sauce, radish and ginger) and Gyokai tempura (Mixed seafood Tempura) and surprisingly unlimited sushi at Rs 999*. The specialty of Tempura is the technique in which the vegetables or fish in a batter is deep fried to bring out the authentic flavors.
