LUDHIANA, February 13, 2018: To ensure the smooth, free and fair conduct of Ludhiana Municipal Corporation Elections and by-polls of two wards in Payal and Jagraon Municipal Councils in the district, the State Election Commission has appointed ten observers for the polls on Tuesday.
Divulging the details, District Electoral Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Mr. Pradeep Kumar Agrawal and Additional District Electoral Officer-cum-Additional Deputy Commissioner Mrs. Neeru Katyal Gupta informed that the state election commission had appointed Mr. Balwinder Singh Dhaliwal, special secretary Transport as an observer for the wards 2 to 7 and 9 to 13 and he can be contacted on 98552-33010.
Mr. Jagwinder Singh Grewal, Additional Deputy Commissioner (G) Moga will be the observer for the wards 14 to19, 21, 23 and 24, 25 and 26. His mobile number is 98725-96406.
Additional Chief Administrator (Policy and Headquarters), PUDA, SAS Nagar, Mr. Bhupinder Singh has been appointed as an observer for the wards 22, 27, 28, 29 to 35 and 40 and he can be reached on 94174-00085.
For the wards, 36 to 39, 41, 42 and 46 to 50, Mr. Girish Dayalan, Chief Executive Officer, Jalandhar Smart City has been appointed as the observer. Anyone can contact him on 85282-99999.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (G) Jalandhar Mr. Jasbir Singh will be the observer for the wards 8, 20, 51 to 58 and 63 and can be contacted on 98150-15308.
