Tata AIG provides travel insurance on the go to Axis Bank customers

Chandigarh, 25 July 2016: Tata AIG General Insurance Company Limited announced the launch of an integrated travel product, for all Axis Bank Customers through the bank’s one stop solution called ‘Happy Holidays Package’.

The package allows Axis Bank customers, who are travelling abroad to buy Tata AIG travel insurance policy instantly and in a seamless manner from the bank’s mobile app.This integration is the first of its kind in the General Insurance space, which not only offers customers, a travel policy on the go but also grants them access to information on policy wording.

The ‘Happy Holidays Package’ offers multiple travel benefits to globetrotters such as a Multi-Currency Forex Card, that can be loaded with upto16 currencies; travel insurance policy, tailor-made Travel Insurance plans; TripAssist Services – an emergency assistance service; Free International Calling Cards, and discounts at restaurants in overseas locations. The ‘Happy Holidays Package’ leverages Big data analytics and its integrated marketing solution to offer customized travel solutions to potential international travelers from its existing customers base.

As India grapples with insurance penetration across the country, this is a bold step taken along with Tata AIG’s long-standing bancassurance partner- Axis Bank, towards their digital journey. This cutting edge integration will facilitate convenient access in getting a travel policy online, leading to instant gratification.
