Symposium on “Women & Wellness” by FICCI FLO Chennai

Chennai, January 7, 2019: The Chennai chapter of the women wing of Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), FLO Chennai today conducted a symposium on ‘Women & Wellness’. Attended by the FICCI FLO members, the session saw senior doctors from Kauvery hospital sharing health tips for women, health check up kiosks and health privilege cards. The panel discussion was commenced by Ms. Anupama Shivaraman, Chairperson, FICCI FLO – who welcomed new members and explained FICCI FLO’s vision and mission and addressed a gathering of around 200 FICCI FLO members. The Health privilege card was launched during the session for FICCI FLO members. As a part of the session health checkups that included BMI, BP, sugar and general checkups were conducted for FLO members. The panel discussion was moderated by Dr. Kavitha Sundaravadanam, Family Physician, Kauvery Hospital, Chennai. The educational session on health had doctors from various specialities who discussed various topics ranging from menopause, surgical menopause, hormone replacement therapy, ovarian cancer, recurrent UTI and dementia.
