Dharamshala, July 10, 2017: Sundernagar was the most wet place in Himachal in the past 24 hours with 124 mm of rain followed by Sarkaghat 106 mm, Dharmshala 89 mm, Bhoranj-80mm, Gaggal-79mm, Mandi-71mm, Dehra Gopipur-69mm, Baijnath-60mm, Bijahi-57mm,Guler-55mm, Pandoh-42mm, Gohar-40mm, Bharari & Jogindernagar-37 mm each, Hamirpur-31mm, Palampur-29mm, Baldwara-27mm, Nagrota Suriyan and Sunni 26 mm each, Kasauli-23mm , Kahu and Gumarwin-20mm each, Sujanpur Tira and Arki-mm 14 each, and Mashobra-11 and Nurpur-10mm of rainfall .

The Metrological Department of the state has warned heavy rainfall likely at isolated places in the coming three days, whereas rain/thundershowers predicted at most places in the coming week. It said that is because of the yesterday’s Western Disturbance as an upper air cyclonic circulation over North Pakistan and adjoining Jammu and Kashmir, which is now moving away East Northeastwards.

Yesterday’s upper air cyclonic circulation over Southwest Rajasthan and neighborhood between 2.1 & 3.6 km above mean sea level (amsl) persists.
