Sunaina crowned Miss Farewell at Ramgarhia Girls College

Ludhiana, March 12, 2016: Students of the Department of Commerce, Ramgarhia Girls College, gathered today to bid adieu to the outgoing students of B.Com. S.Ranjodh Singh, President, Ramgarhia Educational Council and his better half, Mrs Rajinder Kaur, Commercial Director, GS Radiators, presided over the event as chief guests. Dr (Mrs) Narinder Sandhu, Former Principal, Ramgarhia Girls College, was the guest of honour. Principal, Dr (Mrs) Inderjit Kaur extended them a hearty welcome. The day proved to be an amazing fiesta devoted to the precious time spent in the college. Students of B. Com. presented scintillating dance performances and a number of games played by the students as well as teachers added to the fun quotient. Students of B. Com III donned vibrant dresses and put on a great show of glamour in Ms Farewell contest. They set the auditorium ablaze with the ramp walk and were cheered by the audience with resounding applause. During the question answer round, they proved that they are beauties with brain. Sunaina was crowned Miss Farewell and Karanjeet and Harleen were adjudged first and second runners up respectively. Mrs Rajinder Kaur crowned the winners. Dr (Mrs) Inderjit Kaur congratulated Prof. Ajit Kaur, Head, Department of Commerce, and her team on organising the gala event. While addressing the students, she said that the outgoing students should never forget the values that they have imbibed during their stay in the college and also advised them to brace up for the new opportunities awaiting them. Dr (Mrs) Narinder Sandhu inspired the students to achieve great heights in their future. S. Ranjodh Singh, President appreciated the students and the faculty members for arranging a fun-filled party and also inspired the students to have faith in themselves as it will ensure their success in all the ventures they undertake in life. S. Jagtar Singh, General Secretary, Ramgarhia Educational Council, gave his best wishes to the students.
