Stupendous Victory of Cambridge International School In Inter Cambridge Sports Meet

Jalandhar, April 30, 2015: Students of Cambridge International School (Chotti Baradari) emerged victorious once again by clinching the Overall Trophy in Inter- Cambridge Sports Meet held in Cambridge International School (Nawanshahar) from   22.04.15     to   25 .04.15. Various events were a part of this meet and all the participants of the Inter -Cambridge Sports Meet made the school proud by bagging various positions in different events.

An electrifying excitement could be felt in the air on the final day when the Overall Trophy was won by the school   for the 6th consecutive time. The girls were also declared as 2nd  Overall winners. A feather to the cap was the March Past Trophy won by our school.

Stiff competition was witnessed in all the events, spectators cheered the participants and the resonance of their applause motivated the participants greatly.

The Yoga teams of Under 12 and Under 16 category (Boys) stood first in their respective events. Under 12 (Girls) were also declared winners and Under 16 (Girls) bagged silver medal..

In chess Under 12(Boys) , Under 19 (Boys) and Under 12 (Girls )bagged Gold medal whereas in the same event Under 19 (girls) scored second position.

The Volleyball Team (Boys) (Under 14, Under 19) and Girls (Under 19) brought laurels to the school by attaining the first position. Under 14 (Girls) won the silver medal in the same event.

The Basket Ball Team (Boys Under14) were winners whereas Under 19 (Boys and Girls) stood 2nd. Under 14 (Girls) bagged bronze  in the same.

It was a clean sweep in Tennis , Athletics and Skating events where Boys were declared Winners and  Girls stood Second.

In Table Tennis, Boys Team of our school won Gold medal .

In the event of Kho Kho also, boys attained 2nd position whereas Girls won bronze medal.

The hardwork, training and the efforts put in by Sports Department was lauded by one and all. Participants expressed their heartfelt thanks to their sports teachers for providing this opportunity which paved the way to their success.

Chairman Ajay Bhatia, Deputy Chairman Deepak Bhatia, Directors Learning Wings J.K. Kohli, Nitin Kohli , Academic Director Deepa Dogra and Principal Kiranjot Dhillon congratulated the Sports Department for their untiring efforts which paved the way for the success of this achievement.
