HMV student Malika Handa honoured by college

Jalandhar, August 19, 2015: The very special Malika Handa of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya have again won the Gold Medal in Asian Games, making it three times in a row. 

Malika who is deaf and dumb can only smile at her achievements at this young age.  Principal Dr.Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj honoured Malika with flowers and inspiring words.  She said that students like her provide motivation to the youth.  Students should consider them as their idols.  Mrs.Sudershan Kang, Head of Physical Education Deptt. was feeling proud all the time.  Malika’s mother, was too honoured.  She was feeling happy and joyous all through the felicitation ceremony.  Dr. Jasbir Rishi, Head Psychology Deptt. acknowledged her achievement.  All the students and other teachers congratulated the golden girl for her achievements.   Head of English Deptt., Dr. Adarsh KHanna, Head Pol.Sc. Dept. Mrs. Nita Malik were also present in the ceremony.
