Ludhiana, July 25, 2018: The students of PCTE Group of Institutes of B.A Journalism and Mass Communication in the Punjab Technical University Examination bagged Top University Positions in the Provisional Merit list for November -2017 semester examinations, where in the students of Batch 2016-19 and 2017-20 did an excellent job in the University Examinations.

Preity Sabharwal (Batch 2016-19) grabbed the First University Position with 8.00 SGPA, Nagah Salem Saki Baskal (Batch 2016-19) grabbed the Third University Position with 7.42 SGPA, Shaveta Sharma (Batch 2016-19) grabbed the Fourth University Position with 7.38 SGPA, Sukhpreet Singh (Batch 2016-19) grabbed the Fifth University position with 7.17 SGPA, Jaspreet singh Pawa along with Karan Chopra & Deepanshu Sharma (Batch 2016-19) grabbed the Sixth, Seventh and Eighth University Postions.

Kalpna and Manav Bansal (Batch 2017-20) grabbed the Second University Position with 7.83 SGPA followed by Simran & Surekha Mahajan (Batch 2017-20) grabbed the Third University Position with 7.67 SGPA, Mwatitah Faith Mwale (Batch 2017-20) grabbed the Fourth University Position with 7.50 SGPA & Anupreet Sapra (Batch 2017-20) grabbed the Fifth University Position with 7.17 SGPA & Jaskaran Singh along with Prabhdeep Singh Dhaliwal & Japleen Kaur (Batch 2017-20) grabbed the Sixth, Seventh and Eight University Positions.

Preity Sabharwal who grabbed the First University Position said that she was feeling extremely overwhelmed after knowing about her result and she added by saying that this would not have been possible without the support and guidance of the faculty members. Mwatitah Faith Mwale, a foreign student from Zambia who grabbed the Fourth University Position also shared her experience by saying that it has been an all new experience coming to India and studying she further added by saying that PCTE has helped her to excel not only Academically but also has helped in developing the overall personality.

Dr. Rajpreet Chatwal, Senior Faculty, PCTE Group of Institutes said that the students are performing extremely well not only academically but also practically where they have already started writing articles in the newspapers and are maintaining VOP Times- college based news paper and on regular basis are indulged in activities which are helping to evolve their practical knowledge.

Dr. K.N.S Kang, Director General, PCTE Group of Institutes congratulated the students and said that PCTE has always a taken the initiative to develop the overall personality of their students whether it is in academics or whether it is to indulge the students in extracurricular, PCTE has always encouraged the students to get the best out of them.
