Students of Apeejay College of Fine Arts win various prizes in National Youth Festival held at Mysore University

Runner up of National Youth Festival with Dr. Sucharita, Principal, Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar

Jalandhar: Students of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar added feather in its cap by proudly participating and winning various prizes in National Youth Festival held at Mysore University, Mysore from 15th February to 19th February. The talented students played a vital role for Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar to win the runner-up trophy and won the hearts of many by exhibiting their artistic skills.
College students Sumeet in Poster Making, Gurvinder Singh in Painting on the Spot, Neha Kain, Jyoti Sharma, Laaz, Shivangi, Supreet and Tanvi in Group Song (Indian), Satwinderpal Singh in Non Percussion grabbed the first positions while Laaz in Gazal, Rajdeep Singh in Percussion, Shivangi in Classical Dance grabbed second positions. Not only this, it was for the first time in history that the Gazal song was composed by the College student Anadi Mishra.
Principal, Dr. Sucharita heartily congratulated all the winners and appreciated the efforts of Dr. Arun Mishra, Advisor, Cultural Affairs, Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar and Dr. Amita Mishra, Head, Department of Music Vocal, Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar for their extinguished contribution and said it is a proud moment for the College students as they not only participated in various items but have grabbed precious titles in such a cut-throat competition.
