Ludhiana, July 4, 2018: To commemorate the martyrdom day of Baba Maharaj Singh, the Punjab Government will hold a state-level function at Rabon Uchi village in Payal subdivision on July 5.
State’s Jails and Cooperation minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa will be the chief guest of the function and will pay tribute to the first martyr of the Indian freedom movement.
To review the arrangements for the function, sub-divisional magistrate (SDM) Swati Tiwana held a meeting with the officials and members of Gurdwara Damdama Sahib Committee. She also assigned the duties to the officials regarding the function.
SDM appealed the people of all sections to participate in the function.
