Chandigarh, December 4, 2014: Dayanand Chair for Vedic Studies, Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh today organised a special Lecture on Vedic Culture in Dayanand Chair, Arts Block No. 1.
Prof. Dharma Vir from Ajmer delivered the lecture, which was organised in collaboration with Chandigarh Sanskrit Academy.
Prof Dharamvir underlined the importance of Vedas, Sanskrit and Culture. He said that people should understand the difference between culture and distortion. He said that India gave first poem to the world in the form of Vedas, which only talks about humanity.
Chairperson Prof. V.K. Alankar also spoke on the occasion and informed about the research conducted on Vedas at PU.
