SMB Connect organises SME Meet

Chandigarh, November 28, 2014: SMB Connect organised “SME Meet” here today. Chandigarh Management Association (CMA) was the association partner for the event. President, CMA and Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges, Dr.Anshu Kataria was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Swadesh from SMB Connect presided over the event.

Many prominent speakers from the industry and academia namely President, Haryana Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI), Vishnu Goyal; Zonal Sales Head, CRISIL, Rahul Sondhi; VBS Head, Punjab, Vodafone, Joydeb Mukherjee; Regional Business Head, Religare, Jatinder Mohan Singh and Director, Vizinfo, Madhulika Kak were also present on the occasion.

President, HCCI, Vishnu Goyal said that SME sector also plays a significant role in the development of entrepreneurial skills and forms a substantial portion of the country's export earnings. The importance of this sector is well recognized worldwide due to its significant contribution to gratifying various socio-economic objectives, such as higher growth of employment.

Zonal Sales Head, CRISIL, Rahul Sondhi said that we should use such type of strategies so that we can expand globally. He gave the example of ‘Make in India’ campaign. He added that by inviting international manufacturers and conduct their core operations in India. Global businesses are looking towards India and creating new opportunities for small enterprises and start-ups.

Concluding the seminar president, CMA and Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges, Dr. Anshu Kataria extended Vote of thanks to Swadesh and all the speakers, for sharing their valuable thoughts.
