Small Enterprise Business Awards 2016 for start-ups and SMEs; Awards for business excellence in various categories

Bangalore, August 22, 2016: Small Enterprise India, one of India’s leading magazines that aims at educating the small enterprises and entrepreneurs, is inviting entries for its Small Enterprise Business Awards 2016.
Small Enterprise Business Awards 2016 recognises business excellence from Start-ups and SMEs across India from all sectors, to reward SME growth and excellence. There is a special recognition award for young entrepreneurs and women in business.
Entries are invited for
Start-ups in the following categories: Tech Start-up, Innovative Start-up, Franchise Start-up, Service Start-up, Lean Start-up.
SMEs in the following sectors would be rewarded for their outstanding performance: Best SME – Manufacturing, Technology, Service, Agriculture, Retail/FMCG, Healthcare, Export/Import, Trading, Global Presence, Rural, Garments and Textiles.
The entries will be shortlisted depending on the quality of applications and the nominees will be judged by a panel of jurors who are experts in operations of Start-ups and SMEs.
KPMG in India is the knowledge partner and Conscientia Consulting the validation partner, where judging is assessed on the following parameters: Responses to the Awards Criteria questions located within the entry form, Additional supporting documentation, and Audited Profit and Loss report of the last three financial years and overall presentation of the entry. The outcome of each business assessment will determine the Small Enterprise Business Awards 2016 winners.
All entries will get a one year subscription of Small Enterprise India’s digital edition and winners will get advertisement package worth Rs 5 lakh and many more offers from SpiceJet and other partners. IIMB NSRCEL will offer mentoring to the Startup winners and few SME winners. Start-ups and SMEs can send their nominations before 15thSeptember for early bird entries, 15thOctober for normal and before 31stOctober for standard entries. Awards night presentation and winner announcement will be on 10 December 2016 in Bangalore.
