Ludhiana, July 15, 2016: Ludhiana Effluent Treatment Society is organising mass plantation drive and industrial interaction on 21st July 2016, which will be inaugurated by Sh.Madan Mohan Mittal, Industry Minister Punjab and Manpreet Singh Chattwal, Chairman, Punjab Pollution control Board at CICU Complex Focal Point Ludhiana.
Sh. Avtar Singh Chief Executive Officer LETS will highlight during interaction for amicable resolution of various industrial issues of MSMEs with Industry Minister Punjab. He will also take up pollution related issues with Chairman Punjab Pollution Control Board relating to pollution problems being faced by Ludhiana Industry.
Sh. Avtar Singh CEO LETS and Sh. Rajnish Bansal leading industrialist met Sh. Madan Mohan Mittal Hon’ble industry Minister Punjab on 14.07.2016 at Circuit house Ludhiana. They invited Sh. Mittal for gracing the aforesaid event and apprised him with various industrial issues relating to growth and development of industry.
CEO LETS informed that the significance and importance of maintaining greenery. He said that there is a great need for making Ludhiana Clean and Green City in order to reduce the adverse impact of pollution. The boards of Directors of LETS are making all out efforts to ensure that not a single drop of effluent is discharged in sewerage system. LETS is also pursuing all categories of industry operating in different areas in Ludhiana to make proper arrangement for lifting effluents for treatment through LETS to JBR Technologies Ludhiana Operator of CETP.
Sh. Avtar Singh further said that we should keep our environment clean & green for a healthy living. LETS has taken several initiatives to keep industry environmental friendly. He hopes that the industry will also help for making Ludhiana a clean and green.
