SHARANJIT SINGH DHILLON LAYS STONE OF BRANCH ROAD AT KOOM KALAN

Ludhiana, October 13, 2016: Shri Avtar Singh Ahuja, President, CICU in a statement released today said that Shri Sharanjit Singh Dhillon, Hon’ble Minister of Irrigation & PWD laid stone of a Branch Road at Koom Kalan area today to meet the long standing demand of Industries situated on and around Kohara-Machhiwara Road.

While speaking on the occasion, Shri Sharanjit Singh said that keeping in view the long standing demand Industries & expected huge growth of Industries in this area this road will be greatly benefitted for the Industry of the area.

He further said that a Power Grid has already been set up in this area to facilitate the Industry and to ensure that the Industry does not suffer of power supply problems in this area. He also added that the government is aware that number of Industrialists are planning to set up new Industries in this area. So, the Punjab Government is very much serious about the development of Industry which will lead to generation of employment of youths and improvement of living standard of the people of Punjab in this belt.

Shri Shananjit Singh Dhillon also revealed that a New Focal Point being developed in Dhanansu and it will be a World Class Industrial Area. A 100 Feet wide Road is planned to build approaching from Chandigarh Road to Dhanansu Focal Point.

Shri Upkar Singh Ahuja, Chairman, Small Industrial Development Board, Punjab & General Secretary, CICU was also present in this Stone Lying Ceremony. He explained to the Industrialists that setting up of Industrial Unit in Punjab is far better than in other States 24 hours Power Supply is available here, Minimum Inspection by Factory Inspectors, Good Infrastructure, Cordial and Hard Working Employees, Educated Manpower are a few factors that attracts the Industrialists to set up Industries in Punjab.
