Shaheed Bhagat Singh remembered in Khalsa College

Jalandhar, March 23, 2015: Students, staff and management of Lyallpur Khalsa College remembered Shaheed Bhagat Singh today at on his Martyrdom day in a brief function held in the college campus. Paying tribute to the martyr, Balbir Kaur President College Governing Council said that it was the duty of the countrymen to remember their martyrs and added that functions like this could help one in relating one to one’s traditions and roots. Speaking on the occasion the college Principal Dr. G.S. Samara said it was imperative that that the young generation understood and recognised the sacrifices of the martyrs, so as to ensure the unity and integrity of the country. Present on the occasion were Jaspal Singh Waraich Joint Secretary College Governing council and students and staff.
