Secretary conducts surprise raid in dairy development office

Chandigarh, June 18, 2014: As per the directions of the  Animal Husbandry Minister, Punjab Mr. Gulzar Singh Ranike today Secretary Dairy Development V.K.Meena conducted surprise raid in the office of the Dairy Development Punjab Head Office. During checking, out of total 55 employees 7 were on leave whereas Amritpal Singh, Dairy field Assistant was found absent

He said that the complaints regarding the absence of the officers/employees were pouring in, which necessitated the today’s surprise raid in the office. He said that the department would not tolerate any kind of laxity in the official work and punctuality and accountability of officers and employees would be strictly ensured.

Meena further issued strict advisory for the employees of the department to be present in the office from 9 am to 5 pm and discharge their duty with full dedication. He said that the surprise checking would also be continued in future.
