Science In Every Day Life

Ludhiana, May 31, 2015: The young scientists of B.C.M Senior Secondary School, Sector 32-A, Chandigarh Road, Ludhiana, under the guidance and supervision of their science teachers, organised a Science exhibition on Saturday, at Mata Thakur Devi Hall from 8:15 a.m. to 12:00 noon. More than 150 scientific models were on display. Students’ luminous intelligence was apparent in the various models. Students’ particular concern about conservation of conventional sources of energy was prominently exhibited through the models such as ‘Hydro-Electricity, Rain Water Harvesting, Solar Panels Installation, and Electro Chemical Energy. There were several models displaying different organisms of human body also.

The exhibition was inaugurated by the School Manager Sh. S.K. Mehta. The School Principal Sh. D.P. Guleria, expressed his concern about the fast receding sources of energy and felt it the need of the hour that the young students should be taught about use of alternative sources of energy like hydraulic  energy, wind energy , solar energy etc.

The parents were also present on this occasion and expressed their delight about the extra efforts taken by the school.
