PAU To Hold Its Annual Convocation On Oct 16

Ludhiana, October 8, 2015: The Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) will hold its Annual Convocation on October 16 in the Pal Auditorium of the University. Dr Ved Prakash, Chairman, University Grants Commission, New Delhi will be the chief guest. On the occasion, 393 degrees and 17 Medals/Gold Medals will be awarded to the students. Besides, eight members of PAU’s faculty will be conferred with different awards. Eminent agriculture experts, Dr K.S. Gill, former PAU VC and Dr S.K. Vassal, presently Adjunct Professor, Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI); Scientist of Eminence, Borlaug Institute for South Asia (BISA); and former CIMMYT scientist will be conferred with the Doctor of Science (honoris causa) during the convocation.
