Jalandhar, November 2, 2015: Cambridge International School, Chotti Baradari-II, Jalandhar bagged the Second position in the event ‘Rockathon- The Battle of Bands’ at the International Inter School Youth Festival-Fusion-2015, held at BCM Arya Senior Secondary School, Shastri Nagar, Ludhiana from October 15, 2015 to October 17, 2015. 30 schools participated in the youth festival.
The rock stars of Cambridge stole the hearts of the crowd with their exuberant and enthralling performance. The entire auditorium swayed to the mesmerizing Metal Music. Drumming by the amateur yet experienced drummer, Swaraj Singh, strumming on the guitars by Arnav Dada and Vishwajit Singh and leading on the guitar by Sukkant Mehta, accompanied by Moyukh Dutta Roy on the synthesizer lead the crowd to tap their feet on the rocking music that echoed the auditorium with exhilaration and elation. It set the tempo high for the competition. Giving a neck to neck competition to the other team the boys settled for the second prize.
On this occasion, Chairman of the school Mr. Ajay Bhatia, Deputy Chairman Mr. Deepak Bhatia, Chairman Learning Wings Mr. J.K Kohli, Dr Brijesh, Mr. Nitin Kohli, Academic Director Ms. Deepa Dogra and Principal Ms. Kiranjoth Dhillon congratulated all the participants, their parents and the Music Department on their achievement and also appreciated the hard work put in by the students and the music department of the school for bringing such laurels to the school.
