Jalandhar, October 10, 2015: Three students of Lyallpur Khalsa College were awarded scholarships for their outstanding performance in university examinations. Sponsored by the noted film and TV artist and a former teacher of the college Prof Sarita Tewari, the scholarships worth Rs. 3100, 2100 and 1100 would be awarded to three meritorious students of BA classes of the college. Speaking on the occasion the college Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra said that this scholarship would motivate students to come up with good results. He congratulated the recipients of the scholarship Sahibzada Singh Singh, Aashish Kumar and Harsimran Singh for this achievement. He expressed his thanks to Mrs. Tewari for this philanthropist act.
