SBS Campus Celebrated Engineers' Day

Ferozepur, September 18, 2018: Engineer's Day was celebrated by the Computer Engineering Department of the institute at Shaheed Bhagat Singh State Technical Campus dedicated to Bharat Rattan Civil Engineer Mokshgundam Visvesvaraya. Campus Director Dr.T S Sidhu was the chief guest and inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. Meanwhile, the students presented a colorful program besides technical activities like solo singing, solo dance , skit, group dance, bhangra etc.
Dr. T. S. Sidhu in his speech shared information with the students and staff about the life and achievements of Engineer Mokshgundam Visvesvaraya. He said that Krishna Raja Sagar Dam Mysore and Flood Protection System, Hyderabad under the leadership of this great engineer were created. He appreciated the efforts made by Madam Daljit Kaur, Head of Computer Science Department and Incharge Compuwave Society Assistant Professor Gagan Luthra to celebrate this day. Dr. Sidhu congratulated all the students, faculty and staff on this occasion of Engineers Day. Finally, the winners of the technical and cultural activities awarded.
On this occasion, HOD CSE Daljit Kaur, Dean Sports and Cultural Activities Tejpal Verma, Prof. Navtej Singh Ghuman, Madam Sonika Jindal, Dr. Sunny Behl, PRO Balwinder Singh Mohie, Manpreet Kaur, Avtar Singh, Devinder Kumar and all staff members CSE department and a large number of students were present.
