Sangam Netralaya Mohali holds roundtable meet on Retinal Diseases

Mohali, March 8, 2015: Sangam Netralaya Mohali, a super speciality eye hospital  held a round table meet “Retinal Panorama” for the retina specialists of the city as a part of its endeavour to exchange latest developments in the field of retina.

Retina specialists from the region including those from PGI, GMCH and private sector attended the meeting and held deliberations on various challenging cases of retinal diseases.

Six retina specialists including Dr Avinish, , Dr Gaurav Sanghi, Dr Balbir Khan, Dr Subina Narang, Dr. Rajeev Gupta and Dr Ramandeep Singh delivered presentations related to common retinal diseases like diabetic retinopathy, age related macular degeneration, uveitis,  central serous chorioretinopathy and retinopathy of prematurity.

The meeting aimed at bringing uniformity in the medical fraternity for treatment of retinal conditions and also in helping disseminate the latest developments and trends in the management of these potentially serious vision threatening eye diseases. The discussion revolved around clinical challenges and treatment aspects.
