Sampla thanks PM Modi and Naidu for declaring Amritsar, Jalandhar and Ludhiana as smart cities

Chandigarh, September 20, 2016: Union minister and Punjab BJP president Vijay Sampla today extended his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Urban Development Minister Venkaih Naidu for including Amritsar, Jalandhar and Ludhiana in the new list of smart cities. Amritsar tops this list of 27 cities. Sampla said, “The urban development ministry has chosen a total of 63 cities in three phases, in which Punjab’s three cities- Amritsar, Ludhiana and Jalandhar, will be developed as smart cities”.
