SAI LUCKNOW wins 7th All India Jagtar Memorial Hockey Tournament

Ludhiana, February 8, 2013: In the finals of 7^th All India Jagtar Memorial Hockey Tournament here on Friday, SAI Lucknow defeated

Kurukshetra University, and won the tournament.

Till the 63rd minute of the game, both the teams did goal (3-3).

In the extra time given to both the teams, within next three minutes SAI Lucknow’s Raj Kumar Pal did a goal converting through penalty corner and finally, SAI Lucknow defeated KU (4-3).

In the match, KU got five penalty corners in 3^rd, 4^th, 30^th, 44^th and 48^th minute of game and SAI Lucknow four penalty corners on 6^th, 35^th, 40^th and 57^th minute.

Namdhari XI got third position defeating Surjit Hockey Academy, Jalandhar (2-1).

SAI, Lucknow player Deepak Yadav was declared best player.
