Chandigarh, April 23, 2015: The Irrigation Department Punjab has issued a notification to close the Sabraon Branch from April 7, 2015 to May 21, 2015 for 45 days due to ongoing construction work of Bridge at RD 233990.
Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of the government said that keeping in view the ensuing crop season, under North India Canal and Drainage Act 1873, Bikaner Canal would also remain closed for 30 days from April 4 to May 4, 2015 due to the ongoing lining repair works at Gang Canal Feeder and L.N.G. Branch.
