Shri Machhiwara Sahib, November 28, 2015: Some unidentified persons today robbed about one lakh cash on gun point in the broad day light from a petrol pump near village Panjeta on Kohara-Machhiwara road and also injured an employee with some sharp edged weapon.
As per statement with the police Raman Singh employee stated that two persons came to their Essar Pump and started quarrelling with an employee. In the meantime when he came for help they took out a revolver and forcibly took away cash from them and escaped.
After information SHO Koom Kalan Surjit Singh Nagra along with a police team reached on the spot and registered a complaint in this regard after inspecting the site. This pump is situated on Kohara -Machhiwara road and is taken on lease by a person of Machhiwara. SHO stated that they are enquiring the matter in this regard as per information given by Raman Singh, he said that Raman have some injuries on arms but is out of danger.
