REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION AT SMD SCHOOL

Panchkula: India’s 69th Republic Day was celebrated with great reverence in SMD Little Champ Smart School Sector – 2 Panchkula. The day began by flag hoisting by the Founder of the School Mr Atma Ram Bansal. This was accompanied by the Patriotic songs, ‘Saare Jahan Se Achaa….’ ‘We shall overcome…’ ‘Hum Honge Kamyab….’ ‘Nanha Munha Rahi hun…’ Ishaan Garg recited School Pledge. Harsirat Kaur recited solo poem Pyaara Bharat. Students were also told about National Symbols. Principal Ms Deepika Luthra asked all the students to be responsible so that they can perform their role as good citizens. Director Mr Naresh Gupta motivated the students by saying ‘Be the change you want to see in this world and feel proud to be an Indian.’
