Chandigarh, November 5, 2015: The last date for registration for Federal Bank FinTech Hackathon has been extended to 8th November 2015. The first-of-its-kind Hackathon that Federal Bank had launched in association with IBM on the Founder’s day of the Bank on 18th October 2015, is a ‘Mobile Challenge’ outreach program to welcome newer ideas that can enable NexGen Banking through Mobile especially in the areas of Retail Banking, Payments, Remittances, and Merchant Payment. IBM provides the Digital Innovation Platform, IBM MobileFirst/IBM Bluemix, for the Hackathon.
Those who wish to participate in the Hackathon shall register and submit their ideas online at the event microsite, which can be accessed at http://federalhackathon.mybluemix.net/register.jsp, latest by 08th November, 2015. The shortlisted ideas will be provided 20 days to work on the IBM Bluemix platform to develop the concept into an application. The winning teams will be rewarded with iPad Air Devices.
