RECORD PRODUCTION IN AGRICULTURE: Commendation Award – 2012 for Punjab

Chandigarh, January 2, 2013: The state of Punjab has been selected for award of Commendation Award – 2012.

This was revealed today by a Spokesperson of the Agriculture Department, Punjab.

The Spokesperson said that this award is bestowed by the Government of India for achieving record production in agriculture. The state of Punjab has been selected for this award for the year 2012 as it has achieved record production in agriculture.

The spokesman told that under the “Krishi Karman Award” category, this award would be received from the President of India by Chief Minister of Punjab Parkash Singh Badal, G. S. Sandhu, Financial Commissioner (Development), Punjab, and Dr. Mangal Singh Sandhu, Director Agriculture, Punjab.
