Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd hosts Architects, Builders & Construction Engineers Meet at Ludhiana

Ludhiana, August 20, 2016: Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd (RINL), a GoI Navratna PSU under Ministry of Steel, which operates the 6.30 Million MTPA integrated Vizag Steel Plant, held an Architects, Builders & Construction Engineers (ABC) Meet at Ludhiana on August 19 at a City Hotel.
The Meet was widely attended by delegates from among prominent Architects, Builders and Structural & Civil Engineers from Ludhiana and other parts of Punjab. Officials from LIT, GLADA, LMC, PSPCL & GNEC also attended.
The Meet started with lighting of ceremonial lamp by the dignitaries on dais, Shri SK Chakrabarti, HOD(Marketing), RINL, Ar Sanjay Goyal, Director, Ludhiana Smart City Ltd and also Chairman of Punjab & Chandigarh Chapter of Institute of Architects (IIA), Ar Yogesh Singla, Chairman, IIA, Ludhiana chapter, Shri Arvind Pande, RM(North), RINL, and the 3 main speakers Shri S Mandal, DGM(Marketing)-Product Quality & Promotion, RINL, Dr JK Saha, DGM(INSDAG) and Dr SK Mishra, Asst.Prof., IIT-Kanpur.
Shri Arvind Pande welcomed the delegates and hoped for a mutually beneficial interaction on Steel.
The presentations related to RINL-Vizag Steel products, Effective Use of Structural Steel, Design & Selection of Structural steel.
Shri SK Chakrabarti outlined that the purpose of ABC Meet is to spread awareness about RINL-Vizag Steel and best construction practices among the professionals from Construction field.
Ar Sanjay Goyal expressed his hope that with infrastructure work planned under Ludhiana Smart City Project, RINL will be able to meet the quality steel requirements. Ar Yogesh Singla hoped that the Meet will help bring RINL and professionals together.
The progress was compered by Shri AS Mittal, RMS(Projects)-RINL.
