Rajni Patil on another visit to Himachal to gear up the Congressmen

Dharamshala, August 9, 2018: To gear up the Congressmen of Himachal, Rajni Patil ,incharge of the party in the state, arrived at Pathankot today morning by train and left for Chamba by road. She was received at the railway station Pathankot by Himachal congress president SS Sukhu, ex MLA Nurpur Mr Ajay Mahajan Reeta Gularia and others. Talking to media Patil said ,”It is my 3 rd tour to the state. The Congress is united in Himachal, there is no groupism and everyone is working hard to get back all the four lok sabha seats of Himachal in the coming general elections.” During her present tour ,she will meet the district level group of party workers today at Chamba, tomorrow at Hamirpur and on 11 th August at Una. It is learnt that during these meets the roadmap to the parliament elections will be drawn up. She will also take-up the suggestions from the areas grass root workers. Chamba district is the part of Kangra Lok sabha seat. Shanta Kumar of BJP is the sitting MP of Kangra. Una district and parts of Kangra are in Hamirpur Lok Sabha Constituency. Anuraag thakur son of ex CM P K Dhumal is a sitting MP from Hamirpur and has won all the three previous elections here. So, the present Patil’s tour of these areas is considered to be very important for the party. It is said that Patil will visit the tribal and high altitude areas of Lahul Spiti, Kinaur and Pangi at the fag end of this month. To make an effort to strengthen the congressmen in Himachal a dinner diplomacy was done last Saturday at Mandi, in which Ex CM Vir Bhadra Singh,ex Minister Koul Singh Thakur, parties leader in state assembly Mukesh Agnihotri, MLA Asha Kumari,MLA Pawan Kajal, Ex minister Sudhir Sharma, Ex CPS Sohan Lal Thakur and others participated.
