Railway tracks in shabby condition

Jalandhar, October 18, 2012:  The local railway station gives a shabby look as the tracks are seen filled with filth. As a result, foul smell emanates, causing a nuisance for the passengers.

There is a growing demand that proper cleanliness of the railway tracks must be ensured by the railway authorities. Besides, mouse also create a nuisance on the tracks and even on platforms.

BJP District Vice President Satish Kapur alongwith his son Saurabh Kapur went to the railway station to see of their friends recently. He said the situation was pathetic. Satish Kapur urged the Railway authorities to do the needful at the earliest.
